Jerry retired from the Cancer Genetics section of the Molecular Genetics dept. at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in the Texas Medical Center in 2002. The goal there was to standardize access to the many various databases and formats layered across two decades of differing software platforms. He is also webmaster for the Texas Cancer Genetics consortium which is one of eight regional centers contributing data to a national genetics database funded by the NCI. The database allows researchers, more than ever before, to explore the key role gene mutations have in human cancer. Jerry M Kyle's Resume |
